About Us
The CMC was founded in late November of 2006 by Reg Green and Chris Nadon. Reg has been riding motorcycles since the mid-70’s. Meeting with friends to go for rides, Reg eventually found himself riding with another riding club that had chapters all over the US and Canada. In 2004 Reg became a road-captain in the Kitchener area, then soon was asked to be a 2nd officer. Shortly thereafter, Reg became the 1st officer of the huge chapter. In the summer of 2006, Reg then formed a new chapter for this riding club the Cambridge/Guelph area. Chris was also an officer in this chapter. Four months later, came the CMC !
So was born the Canadian Motorcycle Cruisers ! With the first chapter in Reg and Chris's backyard (Cambridge/Guelph) the CMC was underway. With the over-whelming support shown Reg and his 2nd officer, Chris Nadon, the majority of the former riding club membership, quickly joined to start the Charter Chapter of the CMC. In 2 short weeks, the 1st chapter of this new venture was growing with a membership of 75 members !
The second chapter was founded in early December 2006, in the 1000 Islands) with Mike Palmer taking the reins as 1st Officer.
